This document provides a transparent overview of how ExperiaHub operates, from our role in connecting travelers with unique experiences to how we make money, and how our intelligent systems help you discover your next adventure.

Some of the words you’ll see on this page have specific meanings. Please refer to the definitions in the ExperiaHub Terms & Conditions for clarity.

1. Introduction: Our Role

When you book an Experience through ExperiaHub, [Your Company Legal Name, e.g., GlobalExperia Co., Ltd.], a company registered in Taiwan (“ExperiaHub,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides the Platform that connects you with the Experience. ExperiaHub does not directly own, operate, or provide the Experience itself.

2. What Does ExperiaHub Do?

We provide a specialized online marketplace for you to discover, explore, and book unique, authentic, and high-quality local Experiences.

  • Connecting Travelers and Local Suppliers: When you make a Booking on our Platform, you enter into a direct contract with the Supplier — the independent local person or entity selling and responsible for providing the Experience to you.
  • Curated & Vetted Experiences: Before being listed, all Suppliers and their Experiences undergo a thorough vetting process by ExperiaHub to ensure they meet our strict Authenticity and Quality Standards. This includes a review of their operational practices and, uniquely, often involves our team creating high-quality video content showcasing the actual Experience. This ensures that only genuine, high-quality, and unique offerings are available on our Platform.
  • Supplier Partnerships: Suppliers enter into a partnership agreement with ExperiaHub, allowing us to promote and make their vetted Experiences available for booking on ExperiaHub and potentially through our selected distribution channels.
  • Dynamic Inventory: The Experiences displayed on our Platform reflect a carefully curated selection, not necessarily all experiences available globally. Our focus is on quality, authenticity, and uniqueness.

3. How Does ExperiaHub Make Money?

ExperiaHub operates on a commission-based model. We do not sell Experiences directly, nor do we own any of the businesses or operate the Activities listed on our site.

  • When you make a Booking, the Supplier pays ExperiaHub a commission after you have successfully completed the Experience. This means we only earn when you have an enjoyable and successful adventure.
  • We do not charge initial setup fees to our Suppliers, aligning with our mission to support local businesses by lowering their barriers to entry and increasing their global visibility.

4. Our Approach to Discovery, Personalization, and Recommendations

We utilize advanced systems on the Platform to help you discover, search for, and receive personalized recommendations for Experiences. Our unique AI Concierge plays a central role in this process.

AI Concierge & Search List Pages

Our AI Concierge is designed to be your personal travel expert. Instead of traditional keyword searches alone, you can interact with our AI by describing your interests, preferences, and travel style in natural language.

  • Personalized Search & Recommendations: The AI Concierge processes your input (e.g., “I’m looking for a hands-on craft workshop in Kyoto for a solo traveler who loves history”), and then, leveraging a vast database of our vetted Experiences, it generates tailored recommendations. These recommendations are based on a sophisticated system that considers:
    • Relevance: How well the Experience matches your specific query and inferred interests.
    • Authenticity & Quality: Assessed against ExperiaHub’s rigorous vetting process and past traveler reviews.
    • Availability: Real-time information from our booking system (Bokun).
    • Popularity & Reviews: Based on bookings made through ExperiaHub and traveler ratings.
    • Unique Attributes: Specific features of the Experience (e.g., family-friendly, historical significance, hands-on).
    • ExperiaHub’s Revenue: A factor that helps us sustain and grow the platform, allowing us to continue curating and vetting unique experiences.
    • Booking Volume: The number of times an Experience has been booked through our platform.
  • Dynamic Factors: The importance of each factor can dynamically change based on the nature of your query, the characteristics of the Experience, and our ongoing analysis of how effectively we’re connecting you with the best options. However, relevance, ExperiaHub’s revenue, and booking volume are consistently among the most significant factors influencing recommendations.
  • Manual Sorting & Filtering: If you prefer, you can also sort search results in other ways, which might include:
    • Traveler Rating: Experiences ordered by overall rating from verified reviews.
    • Price: List Experiences from lowest to highest, or highest to lowest price.
    • Duration: Order Experiences by their length (shortest to longest, or vice versa).
    • New on ExperiaHub: Experiences ranked by their activation date on the Platform, with the newest displayed first.
  • Refined Filtering: Whichever way you choose to order your results, you can further narrow them down using various filters, which might include:
    • Category: Select specific types like Cultural Immersion, Culinary, Adventure, Arts & Crafts.
    • Theme: Broad themes such as History & Heritage, Outdoors & Nature, Wellness.
    • Time of Day: Morning, Afternoon, Evening, or Full Day.
    • Price Range: Set a specific budget.
    • Free Cancellation: Filter for Experiences offering flexible cancellation policies.

Experience Shelves

Experiences are also presented in various curated selections across the Platform, often on horizontal “shelves.” The title of the shelf (e.g., “Recommended for You,” “Kyoto’s Hidden Gems,” “Recently Viewed”) will indicate the primary basis for the selection. These selections are dynamically ordered using one or more of the factors listed above in the ‘AI Concierge & Search List Pages’ section.

5. Reviews

Your feedback is invaluable for maintaining the quality and authenticity of our Experiences.

  • Verified Reviews: You can submit a review or rating for an Experience only if you were the person who made the booking through ExperiaHub. This ensures authenticity and relevance.
  • Automated & Manual Review Process: Before publication, each review undergoes an automated system check to ensure it meets our publication criteria. If the system detects any inconsistencies, the review may be automatically rejected, sent back to you for validation, or manually reviewed by our dedicated content specialists who work to maintain the integrity of reviews on our site.
  • Publication Time: It typically takes 24–48 hours for reviews to appear on our site, though this may be longer if manual examination is required.
  • Review Removal: Your review will remain published indefinitely unless you request its removal or if our moderation team determines it violates our publication criteria.
  • No Incentives for Reviews: Reviews written in exchange for personal benefits (e.g., gifts, services, discounts) are strictly prohibited and will be removed. Suppliers are encouraged to invite customers to review but are not permitted to offer any incentives. Please report any such offers to us.
  • No Modifications: Once submitted, your review cannot be modified.
  • Promotional Use: Published reviews may be displayed on our partner sites and/or in promotional materials.
  • Supplier Communication: Suppliers may use ExperiaHub’s private messaging system to thank customers for reviews, request additional feedback, or resolve customer service issues. Harassment or requests to remove reviews are strictly prohibited.

6. Prices and Payments

  • Transparent Pricing: When you make a Booking, you will pay the total price of the Experience, inclusive of any applicable taxes and fees. Suppliers are required to clearly state any additional fees for optional extras or mandatory fees payable directly to a third party upon arrival or during the Experience.
  • Secure Processing: ExperiaHub, or another company within our group (e.g., via Bokun’s integrated payment gateways), will process your payment for the Experience. Your payment information is handled securely. For more information, please refer to Section 13 of the Customer Terms of Use.

7. If Things Don’t Go to Plan…

We strive for every Experience to be perfect, but sometimes unforeseen issues can arise.

  • Customer Support: If you book an Experience and encounter a dispute or an issue, ExperiaHub will provide customer support. We will work as a facilitator with the Supplier to help the parties reach a fair resolution.
  • No Guarantees from ExperiaHub: Please remember that ExperiaHub does not offer any direct guarantees or warranties in relation to the provision of any Experience or the conduct of any Supplier. The responsibility for the Experience lies with the Supplier.
  • Contact Us: For more information, please see our Terms of Use. If you have any questions, or if something doesn’t go according to plan, please contact us immediately.
